April was an outstanding goalie who played in some of the most prestigious club tournaments in the country. She also was the first female to score a point for the Palmdale High School Football team
April Cline's soccer career began on the AYSO fields in Palmdale. Still playing at the collegiate level, April is one of the best female soccer players to ever emerge from the region.

After getting started as a perennial AYSO all star, Arpil began playing club soccer as an 11-year old for a local Antelope Valley team. Hoping to play against top-flight competition, April eventually transitioned to LA-area teams, playing for the Valley United Stars and LA Force. She played keeper for teams that won some of the biggest competitions in the country - Surf, Nomads and the North Carolina Shoot-Out. She played at WAGS, the Texas Shoot-Out, and Pleasanton. April played in the Coast League's Premier Division from U16 thru U19. She was selected for ODP District team at U14, U15 and U16, and the ODP State Pool at U-17 and U19.
April attended Palmdale High School, where she played football, soccer and track all 4 years, while at the same time playing Premier soccer in the Valley. She was the first female to score a point at Palmdale High School.
April's awards included Golden League 1st team in soccer as a freshman and senior, Golden League 2nd team in soccer as a sophomore and junior, CIF Women of the Year, Wendy's Heisman Award, US Marine Distinguished Athlete Award, and Athlete of the Year her senior year.
April graduated from Palmdale High in 2002 and attended Cochise College in Douglas, Arizona on a full scholarship. She played there for 2 years, and was named All ACC AC 2nd team both years, allowing only 10 goals her sophomore year with a 0.62 goals against average.
After completing 2 years at Cochise, April moved on to Cal State University Northridge coach where she played for coach Terry Davila .
April has 2 brothers, Beau 28, and Jarrod 26 - both goalkeepers as well. Michelle Akers is her favorite player
