Youth Sports Hall of Fame
He played just one year of varsity basketball at Lancaster High before moving on to Boys to Men Academy in Illinois, and then Brewster Academy in New Jersey. That journey helped him establish himself as one of the top prep power forwards in the nation.


Craig was rated as the 18th-best player in the nation in the final 2007 rivals.com rankings, and he was the fourth-best power forward in the Class of 2007. In his final season at Brewster Academy, he led his squad to a 29-6 record and a NEPSAC Class A runner-up finish. He averaged 18.1 points and 9.3 rebounds in his final season en route to first-team all-New England honors. Before that, at Boys To Men Academy, he was considered one of the top prep school prospects in Illinois, avergagin 14.1 points and 7.2 rebounds.

At Lancaster, he played center for coach Jesse Parker, and led the Eagles to the Division IAA semifinals.

He chose Iowa State over several other top-notch programs, and is their starting power forward in his freshman year.
