Youth Sports Hall of Fame
One of the most dynamic players to grace the gyms of the Antelope Valley, Huff led the Lancaster Eagles to two straight Golden League championships. Huff had the ability to beat you a number of ways, but most remember his acrobatic play in the paint, above the rim.
After Lancaster, he moved on to Antelope Valley College. His last year with the Marauders, he led the team in scoring (23.2), rebounding (7.4), assists (3.7) and steals (2.0) while shooting aremarkable 286 free throws (10 per game). He broke his wrist and missed three games, but scored 43 points in his first game back. He ranked fourth among California JC players in scoring that year, and was named first team All-Foothill Conference twice. He was also selected as his team’s Most Valuable Player both seasons.
He moved on to Portland State, where he he is currently their starting shooting guard.
