Youth Sports Hall of Fame
Webb was one of the most prolific shooters to ever hit the hardcourt in the Antelope Valley. As an Eagle he averaged 27.5 points a game and 7.0 assists. As a senior, he set records for points and average in a season. He led the Eagles with 43 points against Hart High School in the CIF Playoffs. During his last two years at Lancaster High, he was elected Golden League MVP, First Team All-League, and First Team All-State.
Mike moved on to AVC, where he was honored as a First Team All-State player and was second in the state in three point shooting with 119. Mike had 212
three pointers in his two years at AVC, which was good enough to put him third on the list of all time career three point shooters in Marauder history. During his last year as a Marauder, Mike averaged 17.7 points a game and had a season high of 36 points and a school record of 11 three pointers against Ventura College. In his first season with the Marauders he was second on the team with an average of 14.0 points a game and led the team with 93 three pointers. Mike led Antelope Valley College to an overall record of 53-14 during his two seasons.
Then, it was on the University of the Pacific, where he helped the Tigers win two straight Big West titles, and two straight berths in the NCAA post-season tournament. Mike scored a career high 15 points in the Tigers a first round NCAA Tournament win over Pittsburgh, on 5-8 shooting from three-point range.
