Rebels Complete Perfect Season
Congratulations to the Quartz Hill JV Girls for their perfect Golden League Season. The girls finished 14-0 under first year coach Mike Gardner while allowing just one goal. The players are Kazandra Palomino, Hannah Fernquist, Jenna Hoeft, Jessica Reyes, Morgan Jones, Captain Emilie Evenson, Leah Mahon, Christina Romer, Catherine Moes, Captain Carla Hager, Kimberly Randell, Courtney Ellis, Samantha Johnson, Kasey Kellogg, Megan Paravato, Allison Burwell, Shawna Saitta (captain), and Arika Ontiveros.

The #1 seeded Knights gave up an early goal, and they trailed until the final ten minutes when they rallied for two scores.

CIF Playoffs

After trailing 2-0 at half time, the Lady Bulldogs scored two quick goals in the 2nd half to forge a 2-2 tie. But Arcadia took the lead on a penalty kick, and poured it on with 3 more late goals to eliminate Highland in a first round CIF playoff game.

Alexa Hale gave the Rebels an early 1-0 lead, with an assist from Stephanie Galarze, and Ashlin Benesch put them up 2-0 before half with a goal on a 35-yard free kick. Murrieta Valley got on the board on a header off of a corner kick, but Benesch's 2nd goal from the right wing, with an assist from Hale, put the game away. Charity Blanton had 6 savs in goal. The Rebels play Hart on Wednesday.
