Avalon avenged their loss to the Roadrunners in the championship game last year. Rosamond scored late in the game on a free kick.

The Lobos overwhelmed the visitors with five 2nd half goals - three by Jose Santiago and two by fellow Senior Edgar Rodriguez - in a wild card match. Littlerock earned a trip to the 1st round on the road against Santa Barbara.

Katella 3, Palmdale 2 (PKs)
Palmdale was always chasing Katella when it came to goals. Katella got on the board first when they put away a penelty kick in the first half. The scoreline would stay that way until Corey Nieto was taken down in the box and Palmdale would get a penalty kick that Alex Anderson would put away to tie the game 1-1. Katella wold get the lead back when Ignacio Contreras could not hold on to a cross and a Katella player put it into the empty net. Palmdale was awarded another penalty kick when a Katella player blocked a shot with his hand after the goalkeeper was beat. Anderson stepped up and tied the game at 2-2. Regulation and overtime would end with the score 2-2. In the shootout, Katella put away their first 3 and Palmdale could only manage to put one in the back of the net, which gave Katella the win and moved them into the second round.
